The UMass Chan - Baystate Radiology Residency Program offers a high-quality learning environment with full multimodality and subspecialty services. The program provides training in conventional radiography, CT scan, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, mammography, and interventional radiology. Subspecialty services include pediatric and fetal imaging, neuroradiology, cardiac imaging, interventional radiology, and breast imaging. The department has in-house faculty coverage from 7 a.m. to midnight, with available faculty via teleradiology overnight.

The program has a total of 16 residents, with 4 residents per class. The faculty consists of 47 members. The program boasts a 100% ABR Core Pass Rate from 2012-2017.
