The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center Occupational Medicine Program offers a full spectrum residency program in the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine located in the heart of Oklahoma City. Residents receive exemplary academic and clinical training, working alongside leading specialists.
Application Information: - Residency programs start reviewing applications in October 2023. - Application deadline is December 1, 2023. - Interview dates are scheduled between October 2023 and January 2024. - Interviews will be conducted entirely via Zoom this year. - Eligibility includes graduates of LCME-approved medical schools or international graduates with a valid ECFMG certificate and valid visa or permanent resident status. - Application requirements include graduating within the last 5 years and passing Step 1, Step 2, and CS in no more than 2 attempts cumulatively. - For International Medical Graduates: US rotational experience is preferred, sponsorship for J-1 Visas only is provided, and ECFMG Certification prior to residency start is required.
Residents in the program have the opportunity to engage in research and expand their medical knowledge. The program values a sincere interest in Family Medicine as a discipline and accepts both MD and DO candidates.
