The Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC) Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Training Program is a four-year program affiliated with the Johns Hopkins Residency Program. The merger between GBMC and JHH programs took place in July 2000. All applications for this combined program are processed through the ERAS common application process at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Successful completion of the program qualifies physicians to take the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology examination.
The Department of Gynecology at GBMC is one of the largest in Maryland and includes divisions such as Urogynecology/Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery, Gynecologic Oncology, and Reproductive Endocrinology.
