The Ophthalmology Residency Program at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai (NYEE) offers a comprehensive three-year ACGME accredited training program. It provides outstanding clinical and surgical training covering the full breadth of medical and surgical ophthalmology, including various subspecialties such as cornea, retina, neuro-ophthalmology, oculoplastics, glaucoma, and more.

Starting from July 2021, the program has been expanded and now combines two previously distinct programs into one, with 10 residents accepted annually.
