The General Surgery Residency Program at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University is designed to train motivated, confident, technically skilled, and compassionate general surgeons. Application Requirements: - Five categorical positions are offered each academic year. - Applications are accepted only through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). - A desirable USMLE Step I score of 210 and above is encouraged. - USMLE Step II completion is not required at the time of application. - Three letters of recommendation from faculty/colleagues are necessary. - The program sponsors only J1 visas. - No specific requirements are set; applications are reviewed by the program director. - ECFMG certification is required by the match, not at the time of application. - The annual deadline for applications is February 1st.
