The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center Family and Preventive Medicine Residency Program in Oklahoma City offers a full spectrum residency program providing exemplary academic and clinical training. In addition to the residency program, there are also in-house fellowships available.
For the Medical and Physician Associate students, the program provides research opportunities to enhance their medical knowledge and clinical skills in patient care.
Application Information: - Residency programs start reviewing applications in October 2023 - Application deadline is December 1, 2023 - Match Week begins on March 11, 2024 - Interview dates are scheduled on various days from October 23, 2023, to January 16, 2024 - Interviews this year will be conducted entirely via Zoom - Eligibility criteria include graduation within the last 5 years, passing Step 1, Step 2, and CS exams within 2 attempts, and a sincere interest in Family Medicine - Both MD and DO candidates are accepted - Application must be made through Electronic Residency Application Services (ERAS) - International Medical Graduates should have US rotational experience, strong command of English, and ECFMG certification - The program only sponsors J-1 Visas
The program accepts applicants with unrestricted Oklahoma medical license eligibility after obtaining a valid ECFMG certificate. Graduates should ensure that their exam scores are available for review by the program by mid-February to be considered for placement on the rank order list.
