The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Knapp Medical Center Internal Medicine Residency Program offers a unique training experience in the vibrant Rio Grande Valley, known for its diverse cultural history and proximity to Mexico. The program also accepts international medical graduates with an ECFMG certificate.

The application season opens on September 27, 2023, with interviews scheduled from October to January. The program offers virtual interviews via Zoom to provide candidates with a personal view of the training program.
