The San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium Program offers a comprehensive curriculum spanning four years with a total of 52, four-week rotations from PGY-2 through PGY-5. Residents engage in dedicated rotations in various specialties such as Gastrointestinal/Genitourinary Imaging, Thoracic Imaging, Cardiac Imaging, Musculoskeletal Imaging, and more. Didactics covering imaging modalities and non-interpretive skills are provided throughout the program.
The primary campuses for the program are Brooke Army Medical Center and Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center. Residents also have rotations at other institutions, including Texas Children's Hospital, University Texas Health Sciences San Antonio, American Institute of Radiologic Pathology, and Audie L. Murphy Veteran's Affairs Medical Center.
Additionally, residents participate in non-clinical blocks focusing on research and electives to enhance their training further.
