Product Manager
Remote / Hybrid
Own product areas across the residency journey—discovery, SmartPick, and advisors—and work with engineering and medical stakeholders.
About the role
Residency Advisor sits at the intersection of medical education and software. Product Managers here own meaningful user problems—from finding the right programs to preparing for interviews and working with advisors.
You will drive discovery, prioritization, and delivery across one or more product surfaces while staying close to how medical students and graduates actually plan for match.
Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap for a product area such as program discovery, SmartPick, advisors, or applicant tooling.
- Translate user research, support feedback, and usage data into clear problem statements and prioritized work.
- Write specs and acceptance criteria that engineering and design can execute against.
- Define and track success metrics for launches and iterative improvements.
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery with engineering, design, and go-to-market partners.
Requirements
- 3+ years of product management experience in B2C or B2B2C software.
- Track record shipping features end-to-end with measurable user impact.
- Strong written communication and ability to simplify complex domains.
- Comfort working with data, funnels, and qualitative user input.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Nice to have
- Experience in healthcare, education, or marketplace products.
- Background working with medical students, residents, or academic institutions.
- Familiarity with subscription or multi-sided platform businesses.
