This timeline shows the ACGME accreditation and recognition history of the program. <b>Colored bars</b> represent periods of a given status. <b>Markers</b> above indicate when the status changed. Hover any element for details. <br/><br/> <b>Accreditation vs Recognition:</b><br/> <b>Accreditation</b> is the program’s overall ACGME accreditation status (initial, continued, etc.).<br/> <b>Recognition</b> is for optional focused areas or tracks (e.g. rural track, research track) that ACGME recognizes in addition to the program’s accreditation. <br/><br/> <b>Statuses explained:</b><br/> <b style="color:#6D78A7">● Application</b> – Program has applied for accreditation.<br/> <b style="color:#4F46E5">● Initial Accreditation</b> – First accreditation granted to a new program.<br/> <b style="color:#6D78A7">● Provisional Accreditation</b> – Temporary accreditation pending full review.<br/> <b style="color:#6D78A7">● Pre-Accreditation</b> – Pre-accreditation status.<br/> <b style="color:#49B8E7">● Continued</b> – Program continues to meet standards; accreditation renewed.<br/> <b style="color:#58D273">● Full Accreditation</b> – Program achieved full accreditation in good standing.<br/> <b style="color:#7C3AED">● Initial Recognition</b> – First recognition of a focused area or track.<br/> <b style="color:#7C3AED">● Continued Recognition</b> – Recognition of a focused area or track renewed.<br/> <b style="color:#CA8A04">● Warning</b> – Deficiencies identified; program must address them to maintain status.<br/> <b style="color:#F29D3B">● Probation</b> – Serious deficiencies; accreditation is at risk if not resolved.<br/> <b style="color:#D93378">● Withdrawn / Withheld / Voluntary Withdrawal</b> – Accreditation removed or not granted due to critical issues.<br/> <b style="color:#8A8BC5">● Not ACGME Accredited</b> – Program is not ACGME accredited. <br/><br/> <b>Special Conditions</b> may be applied alongside any status (e.g., contingent on sponsor, without outcomes data).
