Henry County Medical Center Program

The Henry County Medical Center (HCMC) Internal Medicine Residency Program in Paris, TN, accepts first-year residents who plan to complete three years of internal medicine residency training. The program guarantees positions for the full three years, provided there are no grounds for dismissal or non-renewal of the contract. They anticipate ACGME Accreditation in early 2023 and will offer six positions for July 2023.

Applications for the program are accepted electronically via a provided form instead of ERAS until January 2023. A limited number of qualified applicants will be invited for an on-site interview based on criteria such as patient care skills, medical knowledge, interpersonal skills, professionalism, capability for practice-based learning, and teamwork abilities.

To apply, applicants should submit their curriculum vitae, an official copy of their diploma and medical school transcript, three letters of recommendation, USMLE CK/CS &/or COMLEX scores, and a personal statement. Minimum qualifications for residents include graduation from an accredited medical school in the US or Canada, or meeting specific requirements for foreign medical graduates.
