HonorHealth Program

The HonorHealth Vascular Surgery Fellowship is a two-year ACGME-accredited independent program located in Scottsdale, Arizona. The program is tailored for physicians who have successfully completed a general surgery residency and seek advanced training in vascular surgery. The fellowship has an overarching mission to produce skilled vascular surgeons who not only excel in clinical practice but also engage in research and scholarly activities, thereby contributing to improved health outcomes in the community.

Program Structure

The HonorHealth Vascular Surgery Fellowship is structured to provide comprehensive exposure to all facets of vascular surgery. The curriculum encompasses:

These sites allow fellows to experience a broad array of cases, specifically focusing on conditions related to limb preservation, aortic and venous thromboembolism.

Research Opportunities

The HonorHealth division of vascular surgery places a strong emphasis on research and developments in clinical practices. Fellows are encouraged to engage in research projects that align with the division's goals while benefiting from faculty mentorship. Application Process

For candidates interested in applying, the following criteria must be met:

• Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited general surgery residency program
• Board eligibility or certification in general surgery
• Applications for the fellowship must include completed application forms and supporting documents as specified by the program
• The program does not sponsor visas.

Fellowship positions are filled via the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) with recruitment conducted directly through the program for 2024, while future recruitment is managed through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).
