The Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency Program at Ohio State University Hospital is a six-year program that accepts four interns for the PGY1 year annually. The first two years are structured to provide a strong foundation in managing surgical patients, including exposure to general surgery and various recommended sub-specialties.

During the final four years of the program, residents rotate through four freestanding health care systems, gaining experience in all aspects of plastic surgery, such as trauma surgery, microsurgery, pediatric plastic surgery, oncologic reconstructive surgery, and aesthetic surgery.

Upon completion of the program, graduates are well-prepared for fellowships and positions in academic or community practice. The program is fully accredited by the ACGME.

For the application process, the program accepts applications through ERAS or the Plastic Surgery Common Program Application (PSCA). Selected applicants will be invited for a personal interview. Applicants should ensure their applications are complete before review.

For more information about the program, applicants can contact Emily Dill, the Education Program Manager at the Department of Plastic Surgery at Ohio State University Hospital.
