This Internal Medicine Residency Program at Thomas Jefferson University provides a comprehensive and well-balanced clinical experience. The 3-year training program offers a combination of primary and tertiary care to prepare residents for subspecialty training, general medical practice, and academic medicine. Residents will have the opportunity to care for patients at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Methodist Hospital.

Application deadline is December 15th. The program requires a Dean's Letter/MSPE, Departmental Letter/Structured Evaluation Letter, a minimum of three Letters of Recommendation, Medical College Transcript, Personal Statement, Curriculum Vitae, and USMLE/COMLEX Step 1 and Step 2. U.S. clinical experience is necessary for consideration, and the program sponsors H1 and J1 visas. Graduation within the last three years is preferred, and ECFMG certification is required for interviews.

There are 33 Categorical spots and four Primary Care spots available, and fellowship opportunities exist. The program supports couples match and requires a minimum of three Letters of Recommendation. You must be ECFMG certified to be considered for an interview, except if you are still in Medical School.
