The fellowship curriculum includes substantial inpatient rotations where fellows engage in bedside rounds and take responsibility for overseeing residents and nurse practitioners. The fellows will respond to acute stroke alerts throughout the hospital, gaining direct experience in a busy clinical environment. In the outpatient setting, the fellow collaborates with vascular neurologists to ensure continuity of care for patients with cerebrovascular diseases.

The elective rotations can be customized based on the interests of the fellow, with options including neuro-intensive care, neuro-interventional procedures, ultrasound (transcranial and carotid), physical medicine and rehabilitation, and research opportunities.
