Categorical Anesthesiology PGY-1 in PA Seeking NYC Area swap (PGY-1 or PGY-2)

Hello everyone, I am currently a PGY-1 resident in a categorical anesthesiology program at a highly respected academic institution in Pennsylvania. I am quite satisfied with my training, my program, and my fellow residents; this is not a move related to any issues with my program. Due to personal and family circumstances, I am looking to move closer to my partner, who is located in New York City. I am specifically interested in transferring to another anesthesiology residency that is within commuting distance of NYC, either as a PGY-1 transfer for this academic year if possible or for a PGY-2 anesthesiology position starting in July 2027.
