• Year 1: Rotations in adult multidisciplinary intensive care units, pulmonary consultation service, ambulatory care clinic, sleep clinic, research, continuity clinic, and bronchoscopy.
• Year 2: Continued immersion in adult multidisciplinary intensive care units, pulmonary consultation service, along with focused research and continuity clinics.
• Year 3: Advanced training with a focus on adult multidisciplinary intensive care units, ambulatory care clinic, additional sleep clinic exposure, research, and continuity clinic opportunities.

Training Facilities

The primary training site for the fellowship is Geisinger Medical Center. This facility stands as the largest tertiary/quaternary care teaching hospital in the region, featuring 575 beds, inclusive of pediatric beds in the Geisinger Janet Weis Children's Hospital. Fellows will benefit from a high-tech environment, with critical care units equipped with innovative monitoring technologies and remote patient care capabilities, maintaining a high standard of healthcare delivery.

Moreover, Geisinger Medical Center is one of five helicopter bases for Life Flight®, which supports rapid patient transport for critical cases, significantly enhancing the learning experiences for fellows in acute care scenarios 1.
