Moreover, fellows will engage in the interpretive reporting of coagulation test results for both Mayo Clinic patients and external samples, emphasizing the importance of clear communication with referring physicians. They are required to prepare interpretive reports and attend specialized educational sessions, including seminars and conferences on relevant coagulation topics.

A critical component of the fellowship includes research participation. Fellows will engage in projects related to hemostasis diseases from both clinical and pathological perspectives.
