Curriculum and Clinical Experience

Rotation Opportunities
In addition to training at the Grant Medical Center, fellows have the chance to rotate through various OhioHealth facilities, such as OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital and the John J. Gerlach Center for Senior Health. This diverse exposure allows for a more comprehensive understanding of geriatric care across different settings.
Scholarly Activities
The program encourages engagement in scholarly activities. Fellows have access to full-time dedicated faculty support for research guidance. Activities include weekly lectures, conferences, seminars, and journal clubs which encourage collaborative learning. Furthermore, fellows are provided the opportunity to initiate and complete IRB-approved research projects, culminating in presentations and publications in peer-reviewed journals.
