The Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship Program at the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC) is a distinguished two-year ACGME-accredited training program tailored for physicians aiming to enhance their clinical and interventional skills in the field of cardiac electrophysiology. The program offers extensive training in complex catheter ablation procedures, implantation, and management of various cardiac implantable electronic devices.

Fellows receive training in a variety of cardiac electrophysiologic and pacing procedures, which include:

• Complex catheter ablation for arrhythmias including atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachyarrhythmias.
• Management of implantable cardioverter-defibrillators and cardiac resynchronization devices.
• Device and lead management, incorporating techniques such as laser lead extraction.
