Application and Admission Requirements

To apply for the Pathology residency program, candidates must submit their applications through the ERAS system, with specific requirements including three letters of recommendation, a personal statement, USMLE or COMLEX results, and transcriptions from the medical school. The program currently supports J-1 visa sponsorship for international medical graduates.

With an application process conducted exclusively through the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP), the residency is noted for being highly competitive, catering to both MD and DO graduates, and is considered friendly toward international medical graduates (IMGs).
