Hematology and Oncology Fellowship Program Overview

The Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University Hematology and Oncology Fellowship Program is a distinguished three-year fellowship fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). Upon successful completion, fellows achieve board eligibility in both Hematology and Oncology. The primary training site is the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute, noted for being the only National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated comprehensive cancer center in metro Detroit and one of only 54 such centers nationwide.
