Other training sites integral to the psychiatry curriculum include the Kaweah Health Rural Clinics, Tulare County Mental Health, and Tulare Youth Service Bureau. Curriculum and Training

Application Process
Applicants are encouraged to submit their applications through ERAS, with a recommendation to apply as early as September. The application deadline is December 31. Requirements include: a completed ERAS application, a USMLE or COMLEX transcript, three letters of recommendation, a medical school transcript, a Dean's letter, a personal statement, and proof of graduation from a medical school recognized by the State of California within the last two years.
International Medical Graduates must provide ECFMG certification and evidence of recent relevant experience in the U.S. medical system. Successful applicants generally demonstrate West Coast or California connections, a clean examination record with no failing scores, and may have completed an audition rotation at Kaweah Health.

The program does not offer visa sponsorship, thus applicants must possess appropriate visa status or documentation prior to applying.
