Documentation that demonstrates the eligibility to practice medicine in the U.S., such as a valid ECFMG Certificate, must be provided for foreign medical graduates. Notably, the program sponsors J1 visas only for foreign applicants, and a valid Illinois state license must be obtained prior to the initiation of fellowship training.
