The Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals (Milwaukee) Psychiatry Residency Program offers a unique curriculum with various training opportunities. Residents have access to ACGME fellowships in Addiction Psychiatry, Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, Forensic Psychiatry, and Geriatric Psychiatry. The program features outpatient clinic experiences early in the training years to provide continuity with patients over multiple years. Residents rotate in diverse healthcare settings in the Milwaukee area, from VA hospitals to private psychiatric hospitals to an academic medical center.

Application to the Psychiatry Residency Program requires submission through ERAS, with preferences for four letters of recommendation and a minimum of three required. USMLE Step 1 or COMLEX 1 are needed before interview consideration, and Step 2 or COMLEX 2 are required before ranking.
