The Suburban Community Hospital (Lower Bucks Hospital) Internal Medicine Residency Program offers a structured three-year training program in Osteopathic Internal Medicine. Residents participate in a variety of rotations, both required and elective, to meet AOA/ACOI minimum requirements. The curriculum includes rotations in Internal Medicine, ICU/Critical Care, Surgery, Women's Health, Night Float, Emergency Medicine, Electives, Ambulatory Medicine, among others.
The didactics component of the program includes daily Noon Conferences, Journal Club, Medicine Grand Rounds, Morning Report, Subspecialty Core Lectures, Evening Lecture Series, Weekly Multi-disciplinary team meetings, and Simulation Series to enhance residents' competency and knowledge.
Dr. Radhika Pathalapati (Dr. Pat) is the Director of Internal Medicine Education. She brings extensive experience in internal and family medicine, as well as nephrology. The program also highlights Alumni achievements and graduates from the Internal Medicine program.
