The Abrazo General Surgery Residency Program provides a comprehensive training experience for aspiring general surgeons. The program offers competitive benefits including medical and dental insurance, life and disability insurance, and an employee retirement plan that takes effect from day one of the start date. Additionally, residents receive coverage for ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications.

Application to the General Surgery Residency Program at Abrazo Health is conducted through the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS). The program participates in the NRMP for the matching process.
