The General Surgery Residency Program at HCA Healthcare's MountainView Hospital in Las Vegas provides a rigorous and comprehensive training designed to develop the next generation of surgeons. Additionally, candidates must pass USMLE Step 2 CK and CS or COMLEX Level 2CE and 2PE before ranking. It is imperative that all steps be completed on the first attempt.

Furthermore, applicants should not have graduated medical school over a year ago, and a restricted license for residency in the State of Nevada is required. Applicants must provide three letters of recommendation, including one from a surgery faculty member and a letter from the Surgery Department Chair is strongly recommended.
