The Genesys Orthopedic Surgical Residency Program at Ascension Genesys Hospital provides a comprehensive educational experience for enrolled residents and other learners participating in the program. The program aims to equip resident physicians with the skills necessary for the practice of Orthopedic Surgery. It is structured on a five-year basis to cover all aspects of general Orthopedic Surgical procedures.

The program offers a curriculum that includes rotations in Orthopedic Surgery, Musculoskeletal Imaging, Emergency Medicine, and other relevant areas to provide a well-rounded training experience. Faculty members include experienced Orthopedic and Neurosurgeons with fellowship training in various specialties. Graduates of the program have been successful in pursuing prestigious Orthopedic Fellowships or entering the practice of general orthopedic surgery in community hospitals.
