The Anesthesia Residency Program at McLaren Flint is a four-year program that covers all aspects of anesthesia care, including pediatric, neurosurgical, obstetric, cardiovascular, critical care, and pain management. The program received its initial accreditation from the ACGME in 2022 and aims to train six residents per year. This includes a year of fundamental clinical skills training followed by three years of rigorous clinical anesthesia training during the CA-1, CA-2, and CA-3 years.

• Internal Medicine – 1.5 months
• Perioperative Clinic – 0.5 month
• Pain Medicine – 1 month
• General Anesthesia – 8 months (distributed across years)
• OB/GYN – 1 month
• Medical ICU – 2 months
• Neurology – 1 month
• General Anesthesia – 8 months
• Cardiothoracic Anesthesia – 2 months
• Pediatric Anesthesia – 2 months (Children's Hospital-Detroit)
