The Atlantic Health System/Morristown Medical Center Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine-3 Program is an ACGME accredited fellowship program focused on osteopathic manipulative medicine and neuromusculoskeletal medicine. The program provides 12 months of clinical training in both ambulatory and acute care settings, with an emphasis on inpatient care to prepare trainees in providing osteopathic care across all acuity levels.
Accepted candidates will be involved in osteopathic clinical research and will have a significant role in clinical teaching with residents and medical students. Upon completion of the program, graduates will be eligible and well-prepared to sit for the board-certification examination in OMM/NMM.
The program is designed to meet and exceed the requirements set by the American Academy of Osteopathy (AOA), the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), and the Guidelines for Plus One residency training of the American Osteopathic Board of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (AOBNMM).
