The Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine Fellowship at Eastern Connecticut Health Network is designed to cultivate physicians who embody the Philosophy of Osteopathy as envisioned by A.T. Still. The primary mission is to produce rapid and lasting clinical results while fostering a culture of teaching and leadership among its graduates. This fellowship program is ACGME certified and offers a comprehensive training curriculum aimed at developing skilled practitioners who will significantly contribute to the field of Osteopathy.
1The program is structured around a core curriculum that includes a variety of clinical rotations and didactic learning opportunities. The core curriculum is comprised of three blocks of Inpatient Osteopathic Medicine, alongside one block each of Rheumatology, Neurosurgery/Orthopedics, Pain Management, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Occupational Medicine, Sports Medicine, and an intensive ONMM clinic of three months. Residents also participate in weekly Osteopathic Didactics sessions and have a continuity clinic for OMM throughout all rotations.

The fellowship provides a diverse selection of elective rotations, including Regenerative Medicine, Diagnostic Radiology, Practice Management, Musculoskeletal Radiology, Family Medicine (which can be done longitudinally), Integrative Medicine, Critical Care, Hospice/Palliative Care, Community Health, Psychiatry, and Research. This broad range of electives allows residents to tailor their training to match their interests and career aspirations.
