The curriculum of the Pediatric Urology Fellowship is structured to cover a comprehensive range of pediatric urological conditions. The first-year curriculum emphasizes essential skills such as conducting thorough pediatric urological assessments, understanding the psychosocial dynamics relating to pediatric patients, and navigating treatment controversies. On-call duties are also incorporated, with fellows participating in home call approximately every fourth night.

Application requirements for the fellowship include completion of an ACGME-accredited general urology residency or its Canadian equivalent. Candidates must be eligible for a Texas Medical Board license and the American Board of Urology certifying examination.
