The Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School Urology Residency Program offers a five-year training program encompassing general urology, endourology/stone disease, neuro-urology, urologic oncology, reconstruction, and pediatric urology. Residents benefit from exposure to tertiary and community urologic care, specialized training in robotic and minimally invasive surgeries, a dedicated Resident Clinic supervised by faculty, and time for research and elective clinical experiences. The program is affiliated with Harvard Medical School and provides outstanding educational opportunities, starting its independent residency program in July 2019. Residents rotate through Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham, and Boston Children's Hospital as part of their training. The program also offers an Anki question deck designed to aid medical students in preparing for sub-internships and PGY-1 year. Leadership includes Dr. Ruslan Korets as the Program Director and a team of accomplished faculty members. Residents at various stages of training contribute to the diverse learning environment of the program.
