Boston Children’s Hospital offers a prestigious Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship Program through its Department of Anesthesia. Application Process

Applicants are required to document satisfactory completion or endorsement of ongoing training in either Pediatric Anesthesiology or Adult Cardiac Anesthesiology at accredited institutions in the U.S. or Canada. The application process has shifted to an electronic format, eliminating the acceptance of hard copies.

Moreover, foreign-trained anesthesiologists are welcome to apply under specific conditions. They must demonstrate completion of USMLE Steps 1, 2CK, and 2CS, and achieve ECFMG certification. Visa requirements necessitate that they possess either a J1 clinical training visa or an H1B visa renewal, illustrating the program’s commitment to a diverse applicant pool.
