Application Information: - All applicants must apply through the National Resident Matching Program. - Candidates must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents; the program does not sponsor or accept any visas or EADs. - Medical school completion must be within the last three years. - A minimum of three individual letters of recommendation is required, with at least one from a board-certified family physician. - Applicants must pass all USMLE or COMLEX exams with no more than two failures combined across all parts. Scores must be obtained by February 1st. - International Medical Graduates must be able to obtain valid ECFMG certification and a Louisiana intern permit by July 1st. - Candidates more than one year out from medical school completion must have engaged in a direct patient care experience within the year of application.
