Curriculum and Training

The core rotations consist of Geriatric Psychiatry, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Cardiology, Neurology, Geriatric Clinic, Inpatient Geriatric Trauma, Long-Term Care, and several elective rotations such as Wound Care, ENT, Urology, and Infectious Disease. Additionally, fellows will participate in scholarly activities including dementia simulation, journal clubs, and quality improvement projects.

The primary clinical site for the fellowship is HonorHealth Scottsdale Thompson Peak Medical Center, supplemented by various participating sites such as HonorHealth John C. Lincoln Medical Center and Hospice of the Valley. These sites provide fellows exposure to a diverse patient population and intricate cases within geriatric care.

Fellows are engaged in scholarly activity aimed at enhancing geriatric medicine's current practices.
