The Allergy and Immunology Fellowship at Memorial Healthcare System is a two-year program designed for two fellows each academic year, with a total of four fellows by the second year of the program. Curriculum Overview

• Memorial Regional Hospital (MRH): As the flagship facility, MRH is a Level 1 Trauma Center providing a wide range of services including advanced cardiac and surgical procedures.
• Memorial Hospital West (MHW): This facility supports a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to care, with high patient volumes in its emergency department.
• Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital: A major referral center, it offers invaluable experience in pediatric allergy cases, encompassing thousands of admissions and surgeries annually.

• Medical school graduation within the last five years.
• Passing scores on USMLE or COMLEX exams (Steps 1, 2, and 3).
• Three letters of recommendation, one of which must be from the Residency Program Director.
• Foreign Medical Graduates must have ECFMG certification.

The program favors candidates with U.S. clinical experience and those who have passed exams on the first attempt.

Visa Sponsorship

The program sponsors the J-1 visa through ECFMG for international medical graduates, allowing them to participate fully in the fellowship.
