4241142001The Pediatric Radiology Fellowship at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Florida (NCHFL) is a one-year ACGME-accredited program designed for graduates of diagnostic radiology residencies. NCHFL is notably a freestanding tertiary care facility focused on pediatric care, operating 135 inpatient beds dedicated to serving children from birth to 18 years.
As part of a robust healthcare system, NCHFL delivers high-quality care to a diverse patient population. The fellowship program is enhanced by a well-established team comprising over 180 pediatric medical and surgical faculty physicians and nearly 40 categorical pediatric residents. In 2023, the Radiology Department performed over 100,000 procedures, offering fellows a vast experience in a variety of pediatric conditions, including acute and chronic illnesses.
The program aims to equip fellows with necessary expertise in pediatric imaging modalities including radiography, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and nuclear medicine. Salary and Benefits
The fellowship salary structure ranges from $70,679.12 for the first year (PGY 1) to $89,710.93 for the eighth year (PGY 8). Additional benefits include a $1,000 educational stipend, research funds for poster presentations, four weeks of vacation per year, health insurance, dental and vision coverage, life and AD&D insurance, and on-site gym facilities. Furthermore, fellows are supported with paid parental leave, flexible spending accounts, and malpractice insurance.
