The Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) Fellowship at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Florida, is a prestigious three-year program that is accredited by ACGME. Curriculum and Rotations

The fellowship includes a comprehensive curriculum tailored to meet the requirements for pediatric emergency medicine training. Fellows will engage in a mix of core clinical rotations and research opportunities throughout the duration of their training:

Core Clinical Rotations

Both the EM Graduate Track and Pediatric Graduate Track consist of 76 weeks (19 EUs) of core clinical rotations that cover essential areas such as Pediatric Emergency Medicine, NICU, PICU, Anesthesia, and more.

Individualized Curriculum

Fellows also have the flexibility to pursue an Individualized Curriculum (IC), which accounts for 20 weeks (5 EUs) dedicated to specialized training in various disciplines such as Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Hematology/Oncology, Child Advocacy, and Transport Medicine.

Research and Scholarship

In alignment with academic goals, fellows will complete 48 weeks (12 EUs) directed toward scholarly activities, including research projects and opportunities for dissemination of their findings.

Salary and Benefits

The salary structure for the fellowship is as follows:

• PGY 4: $78,837.02
• PGY 5: $81,552.83
• PGY 6: $84,273.88
