Program Structure
The Psychiatry Residency Program is a four-year categorical program with eight residents selected annually, totaling to thirty-two residents in the course of four years. The program begins with clinical rotations in core specialties including Primary Care, Neurology, Inpatient Psychiatry, and Emergency Psychiatry, during the first year. Subsequent years involve deeper dives into subspecialties such as Integrative Care, Community Psychiatry, Addiction Psychiatry, Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Forensic Psychiatry, and Tele-Psychiatry. A comprehensive Psychotherapy curriculum is introduced in the second year to further enhance the residents' skills.
