The program has transitioned to university sponsorship by Quinnipiac University's Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine.
Residents have exposure to inpatient and outpatient settings, intensive care units, subspecialty community practices, and urgent care centers. Didactic sessions, case-based discussions, and interdisciplinary conferences are integrated into the curriculum. The program provides four weeks of vacation per academic year and encourages residents to attend conferences. Social activities like welcome gatherings, graduation dinner, and intern outings are organized for residents to foster camaraderie.
