University of California Riverside School of Medicine/St. Bernardine Medical Center – Dignity Health Program

The Internal Medicine Residency program at the University of California, Riverside School of Medicine and St. Bernardine Medical Center is a three-year program that offers strong clinical and didactic training. It is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. The program is primarily located at St. Bernardine Medical Center in San Bernardino, California, providing comprehensive outpatient and inpatient experiences under experienced mentors. The goal of the program is to train physicians to deliver high-quality care, especially to underserved populations. The program participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) and requires applications through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). The program is transitioning from Riverside University Health System (RUHS) to St. Bernardine Medical Center. Starting in July 2021, new interns will be located at St. Bernardine Medical Center.
