Arrowhead Regional Medical Center Program

The Arrowhead Regional Medical Center offers a variety of medical residency programs with a commitment to graduate medical education. They provide access to well-being resources and emphasize resident physician self-care. The programs include 10 residency programs and five fellowships, totaling over 230 residency positions.

The Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center is ACGME-accredited and aims to train competent physicians in diagnostic radiology. It is a four-year program structured to provide a comprehensive training experience. Residents have access to research opportunities and quality improvement activities.

Applicants to the Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program must have completed the ERAS application, provide a medical school transcript, USMLE scores, dean's letter, three letters of recommendation, curriculum vitae, and a personal statement. International Medical Graduates must have graduated within the last two years and have a valid ECFMG certificate. The program does not sponsor any visas.

The Neurology Residency Program and Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency Program are also available at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, offering categorical training programs to residents. These programs provide in-depth educational experiences in their respective specialties and have specific application requirements similar to the Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program.

In contrast, the Psychiatry Residency Program at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center is a part of the National Residency Match Program and offers six ACGME positions annually. Applicants must apply through ERAS and submit various documents, including USMLE scores, a personal statement, letters of recommendation, and a curriculum vitae. The program does not sponsor any visas.
