The University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Medicine offers a fully accredited residency program in diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine. The program includes a four-year residency in diagnostic radiology and offers five PGY II Diagnostic Radiology Resident positions annually along with one dedicated Interventional Radiology position. The total program is approved for 24 residents.

Residents undergo subspecialty-oriented training with rotations in various areas such as gastrointestinal, genitourinary, musculoskeletal, pediatrics, chest, mammography, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, neuroradiology, cardiovascular, and interventional radiology.
