There are opportunities for hands-on experience, including participation in multidisciplinary conferences and didactic lectures. The department is actively involved in research, encouraging residents to participate in research studies and present findings at national conferences.

Applications are accepted through ERAS, with interviews for the integrated residency typically held from October to January, and independent residency interviews held from December to February. The program follows the guidelines of the National Residency Matching Program.
