Clinical Informatics Fellowship Program

The Clinical Informatics Fellowship Program at Moffitt Cancer Center, sponsored by the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine, is a cutting-edge initiative designed to meet the growing demand for clinical informatics specialists. Training and Curriculum

The program offers a two-year curriculum centered around practical rotations supplemented by didactic sessions aimed at cementing foundational knowledge. The fellowship also includes potential enrollment in the Health Informatics Graduate Certificate program at USF, a valuable addition to bolster the comprehensive education of fellows. Eligibility and Application Process

To be eligible for the fellowship, applicants must have completed an ACGME-accredited residency in Internal Medicine. They should also qualify for board certification by the ABMS or AOA. Applications are processed via the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) starting in July, with interviews typically conducted from September to November. The AMIA Clinical Informatics Match occurs in mid-December.
