• 5.5 blocks in Blood bank/Apheresis
• 5.5 blocks in Hemotherapy
• 1 block in Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) testing
• 0.5 block at Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center
• 0.5 block in Coagulation

• Blood Bank: Exposure to one of the largest reference labs in Southeast Texas, fellows will learn to interpret antibody panels and manage transfusion reactions.
• Hemotherapy: Engagement in an innovative consultative service as interventional blood banking consultants, providing care for patients with complex bleeding and coagulopathy issues.
• Therapeutic Apheresis: Providing direct patient care through procedures such as plasmapheresis and therapeutic phlebotomies.
• Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center: Involvement in donor exposure and cellular therapy training.
• MD Anderson Cancer Center HLA Lab: Education on anti-HLA antibody testing and cytokine panel analysis.
