Residency Advisor

Musculoskeletal Radiology at UT Southwestern is a one-year fellowship program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). The program is designed to provide comprehensive training in musculoskeletal radiology through clinical responsibilities primarily at Parkland Memorial Hospital and UT Southwestern University Hospitals, along with their associated outpatient facilities.

Call Duty

  • Latest multi-vendor CT and MRI scanners, including a 3T scanner and DECT capabilities.
  • Dedicated research MRI systems.

Fellows are encouraged to engage in ongoing research and have access to supportive resources for this purpose. Formal mentorship is provided throughout their research activities, with expectations for presentations at national conferences.

Application Process

The program typically offers three fellowship positions each year. Specific application requirements include submission of letters of recommendation, medical school transcripts, and personal statements. International Medical Graduates are considered, provided they hold valid J-1 visas.
