Overview of the Residency Program

The Washington University/B-JH/SLCH Consortium Program in Pediatrics at St. Louis is dedicated to training future leaders in pediatric healthcare. Application Process

Potential applicants are required to apply through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). A comprehensive application consists of several components, including a Dean’s letter, transcripts, USMLE Step scores, a personal statement, and letters of recommendation.

Eligibility Requirements

For international medical graduates, a valid ECFMG certificate is required, and the program sponsors J-1 and H-1B visas for eligible candidates. Notably, the program prefers applicants who graduated no more than three years prior to application.

The program offers a highly competitive fellowship opportunity yet remains friendly to applicants from diverse backgrounds, including DO and international medical graduates. Candidates are encouraged to highlight any relevant clinical experience during their application.
